The Group

We are a very active and friendly group of people, from all walks of life, who all have one thing in common a love of walking. Our base is the Crewe and Nantwich area although anyone is welcome to choose us as their group wherever they live.
You don't have to be a member to come on a few walks with us. You can try up to as many as three walks before deciding if you like us enough to join the Ramblers. Join. This link takes you to the Ramblers web site.

If you would like to walk with us but not sure how to start try a SHORT WALK. Information in our walk programme.

Check details for Next Walk.

What do you need ?

Suitable walking boots/shoes, warm and waterproof clothing, a rucksack, picnic lunch and drinks. If you don't have your own transport, you can be sure of a lift if you can get to the initial meeting point. Things you might want to know about when joining us for a walk, grades, meeting places, what to bring, fuel share arrangements etc. More.

Diary : 2018

Committee Meeting : Monday 4th June
19.30 hours at The Hawk Inn Haslington. All members welcome.

To continue in the future we need members to volunteer to help run the group with varying roles. This is an opportunity to see what their roles are and what they do. We also need more members to become walk leaders to maintain our current programme of walks. Almost all our current committee are walk leaders and are happy to assist aspiring leaders and provide practical help with map reading and route finding.
Our club functions only because people volunteer to become 'officers' and 'walk leaders'. Unless these roles are filled the group would cease to operate effectively, if at all.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
